Experimental verification of this hypothesis was achieved using the bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens and the antibiotics, chloramphenicol and rifampin. The enhanced frequency of drug rotation suppressed the possibility of evolutionary rescue, leading to a considerable proportion of surviving bacterial populations exhibiting resistance to both medications. During the period from January 2016 to December 2021, 454 patients with CHD were admitted to the cardiovascular department of the hospital. Of these patients, 286 underwent coronary angiography (CAG) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), while the remaining 168 patients constituted a control group, undergoing CAG solely for CHD diagnostic confirmation.
